PPAPP Agency Collaborates with 12 Universities in Jakarta

We have signed a cooperation agreement with the twelve universities

The Jakarta Child Protection and Empowerment and Population Control (PPAPP) Agency cooperates with 12 universities in Jakarta. Its cooperation is focused on the guidance and assistance of the PPAPP program.

Those 12 universities are Unika Atma Jaya, Budi Luhur, Uhamka, Bakrie, BSI, STIE Ipwija, MH Thamrin, Unindra, Poltek Karya Husada, Institute of Health Science  (Stikes) Carolus, Stikes Budi Kemulyaan and Kristen Indonesia (UKI).

Jakarta PPAPP Agency Head Tuty Kusumawati said the scope of the cooperation agreement was the empowerment of Jakpreneur under her agency, one-door family data assistance via Carik Jakarta application and implementation of the Women's and Child Protection program, including the Family Resilience program.

"We have signed a cooperation agreement with the twelve universities," she expressed, Thursday (7/30).

She explained this collaboration is a follow-up of a joint agreement between the Jakarta Provincial Government and the Region III Higher Education Service Institution for the Ministry of Education and Culture on Education, Research and Community Service.

"This is intended as a legal basis for the parties to execute the development of the Jakpreneur program, Carik Jakarta assistance, Women's and Child Protection program and Family Resilience in Jakarta," she explained.

She detailed Jakpreneur empowerment included registration, training, assistance and marketing.

"As for Carik Jakarta assistance includes improving the quality and range of data collection, the quality of data collection instruments and tools and the use of data from the data collection via the Carik Jakarta app," she explained.

Then for Women's and Child Protection program, she added, includes formation of the Friends of Women and Children Post in RPTRA; advocacy, Education Information Communication (IEC) and Research on the Implementation of Women's and Child Protection Programs; and assistance in the Formation of Women and Child-friendly Urban Villages.

"And the last is Family Resilience where it includes the formation, coaching and implementation of information centers and counseling for youth and students in places according to the agreement; IEC advocacy and service programs on Population, Family Planning and Family Development; guidance and promoting prevention of stunting through the First 1,000 Days of Life," she said.
